DATA READ
£250
A Data Read is for organisations that have gathered feedback or data but haven’t had the time or capacity to make sense of it. We review your data cold and give you a short, clear write-up of the headline findings, what stands out, and what we’d suggest doing next, so you can act on evidence you’ve already collected. It is priced for a single, reasonably organised dataset; if data needs significant cleaning first, we’ll flag that and agree any extra cost before starting.
TOOL BUILD
£300
An Evaluation Tool Build gives you a ready-to-use feedback form, survey or observation template, built from scratch or rebuilt from one that isn’t working. You receive a tool that captures what you actually need, properly worded and fit for purpose, with a short note on what we changed and why. It is ideal when you want robust evaluation in place without spending hours designing it yourself.
FRAMEWORK
£350
An Evaluation Framework is a clear, one-page plan for organisations starting from scratch or working across several strands. We map your three or four core evaluation aims and recommend the simplest, most proportionate way to capture evidence for each part of your programme, so you know exactly what to measure and how, without over-complicating it. This covers the plan and recommended methods; if you’d then like the tools built, we’ll scope that with you separately.
TOOL PACK
£650
A Tool Pack is a complete, ready-to-use set of evaluation tools, including forms, templates, observation guides and interview schedules, tailored to your programme. Paired with the Evaluation Framework, it gives you a full evaluation toolkit for around £1,000, so your team can collect good evidence from day one. It is priced from £650 for a set of up to five tools, with the exact number, scope and complexity agreed up front so you know the full cost before we start.
£650
A Facilitated Review or Workshop is a focused two to three hour session for organisations whose strategy, theory of change or engagement offer has drifted or gone stale. We facilitate a structured but creative conversation that looks at what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus next, designed so you leave the room with your answer. A concise written summary follows, giving your team something clear to act on.
£600
A Bid Evaluation Plan gives your funding application a strong, fundable evaluation section. We draft or sense-check your evaluation approach, aligning your aims, methods and reporting to what funders are looking for, with particular experience of National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements. The result is a credible, well-designed evaluation plan that strengthens your case. It includes up to one day’s work on the evaluation section of a single bid, with one round of revisions.
£1,000
An Insight Project gives you real time answers to specific questions, whether you’re shaping a funding bid, developing a new programme, or rethinking your direction. We agree the questions, gather the evidence through the method that suits best, such as a focus group, interviews, onsite observation or phone outreach, and turn it into clear, usable findings and recommendations. You receive one side of key findings with up to five selected quotes; full transcripts aren’t included, and onsite or multi-method work may be scoped slightly higher, agreed up front.
Longer-term support is sustained evaluation that works alongside you, for organisations that need more than a one-off piece of work.
We provide medium-/long-term evaluation services for funded projects, typically 12 months or more, with specialist experience in National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery Community Fund work, from designing your framework through to interim and final reports you can use in future bids.
We also offer evaluation retainers, where an experienced evaluator is on hand for advice, tool reviews and report feedback, on a minimum three-month term. To discuss a new long-term commission or ongoing retained support, a free 20-minute call will help us figure out what would help most.
